AFTER the Fajr prayer, Abu Bakr used to go to the desert, then come back for a moment to Medina. Out of curiosity, one day Umar followed him.
It turns out visited Abu Bakr is a flagging tent in the middle of the desert. Umar was hiding behind a large rock. And shortly afterwards Abu Bakr came out of the tent.
After Abu Bakr passed, Umar went into the tent. It turns out in it there is an old and blind woman with a baby.
Umar asked, “Who had come to you?”
The woman replied, “I do not know. To be sure he is a Muslim. Every morning he came here. ”
“What did he do?” Umar chase
She said, “He swept our house, our batter mix, milking our cattle, then go home.”
While out, Umar said, “You make tired replace you, O Abu Bakr. You make tired of your place, O Abu Bakr. ”
From Mu’awiya bin Haidah radhiyallahu’anhu, the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said, “Verily charity in secret could dampen anger Rabb [of Allah] tabaroka wa ta’ala.” (HR. Ath-Thabrani in al-Kabir, see Saheeh at-Targheeb [1/532])
of Allah ta’ala says,
وما أنفقتم من شيء فهو يخلفه وهو خير الرازقين
“Whatever treasure you alms then Allah will replace him, and He is the best of luck giver.” (QS. Saba ‘: 39).
